durational performance: 2 hours
"Kunstbanken Performance Festival"; Town Square; Hamar, Norway. 2015
I was invited by Parlour Collective to make a durational work alongside those of Jack Catling, Kirsten Norrie, Matt Galpin, and Yuko Morita, in which we set out from Kunstbanken together and over the course of two hours make our disparate ways towards the town square.
I drag a sack of salt equal to my body weight along the street until a hole in the sack emerged, releasing a trail of snowy crystals. As I wander through the town of Hamar, a pristine white line traces my journey.
When I finally arrive at the town square, I empty the remaining salt in my sack and place a small origami boat on the end of salt trail.
